A hybrid imaginary sample instrument for Kontakt made from 6 combine-able articulations recorded from a variety of electric and acoustic stringed instruments and analogue hardware.
The Pendleonium² can create a wide range of raw, dusty timbres, it's guitar-ish, kinda stringy-y, and a little bit naive, she can sound like anything from a battered mellotron to a rusty balalaika.
The main components are ….
- Danelectro Baritone guitar.
- Fernandes Sustainer Native guitar.
- Shimro viola (broken).
- Roland RE 501 Space Echo tape delay.
- Vermona Retroverb spring reverb.
- Laney VC15 valve amp.
All recorded at 24-bit with plenty of velocity levels for a total size of 951MB uncompressed.
2 pages of Kontakt scripting allow intimate control of volume levels, pan, envelopes, eq and effects so a massive variety of sound possibilities are waiting to be explored.
Plus the mixed down, 16bit, easy on the CPU, simple version and separate instrument versions and a multi too.
The demo was made using only two instances of the original Pendleonium with no extra effects and lots of automation.
FULL version of Kontakt 4 or above needed.
It will load into Player but time out after 10 minutes, so please don't buy this if you are using Kontakt Player.
